Acknowledge the Individual AND Praise the Team
It’s a rarity that an individual has great success on her/his own. Most often, they’re helped by many. Junior staff, admins, researchers, etc. It’s easy to openly praise the individual but remember leaders, support and praise the FULL team. Members of the team will stick around to be the next great thing.
