Countering Mind Traps - Personal Preparation for a Positive Culture Seminar and Coaching - Reminder
March 18th 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM EST - Register here
Mindsets are often spoken about. Mindsets in connection with habits or behaviors to be specific. Mindsets can be quite helpful – a positive mindset, a coaching mindset… Every action and interaction shapes organizational culture. To truly emphasize inclusion and a positive workplace culture, unique ideas, perspectives, experiences, and people must be embraced. Thus, personal preparation is necessary. One person, with clarity of purpose and a willingness to speak their authentic self, can deeply impact humanization, belonging, and culture.
Sometimes, because we’re human, mindsets can become mind traps; traps that can lead to behaviors that hinder relationships, agility, empathy, and desired outcomes in the workplace and elsewhere. These traps can be named, explained, and changed. Sometimes you’re aware of them, sometimes not – a blind spot. If you’ve noticed something simply gets in your way, let’s identify it and deplete its power source so it doesn’t deplete you. This seminar and coaching are wonderful places to start.
Attend solo or the whole team. This is a great one for teams to attend together so they have a common language to dialogue with each other to create inclusion, psychological safety, and trust.
During the two-hour virtual seminar, I’ll discuss natural mind traps I and others have seen (and experienced), including ones emerging from our two years facing the pandemic. I’ll also share my own genuine traps and a case example of a leader I worked with. We’ll discuss ways to self-observe and help you make an informed decision, a choice about whether the mind trap and affiliated behavior is relevant or needed in the present-day situation or environment.
The seminar is paired with three 60-minute coaching sessions. If some thoughts or feelings emerge from the seminar, you’ll have a safe, confidential environment to explore it further and begin a path to create mindsets and behavior aligned with your desired outcomes including authentically walking the talk towards inclusion and a positive workplace culture.
Once registered, after reading the terms of service, a Zoom invitation will be 3-5 days before the seminar. The seminar is Friday, March 18th 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST. Once the seminar is completed, an email with a link will be sent to schedule your three coaching sessions. It’s best to schedule them quickly to ensure they are either weekly or biweekly.
I look forward to seeing you there.
