How do we learn?
I’m a continuous learner – insert eye roll here. It’s true though. I love to learn and do research. It keeps my mind sharp, my skills growing, and my conversation interesting. How do I learn though? For me, reading and then discussing is the best way. Of course, putting it into action solidifies it for me. I think that’s why I do formal learning opportunities where we’re given things to read and then we discuss them in a safe environment. I can ask silly questions without fear of judgment.
So, then I would say my learning style is first visual (reading), then auditory (group discussions). Internalizing it though is definitely kinesthetic (putting it into action, hands-on activity).
