Here are some tips to help practice acceptance.
The next time you’re struggling to change something or someone out of your control, ask yourself these questions and actively listen to your own answers.
1. What is my current belief(s) that keep me reacting and engaging?
2. What would acceptance look and feel like? Really picture this in your mind and feel it in your body.
3. How can I rewire that belief(s) to accept what I do and don’t have power over?
4. What practice can I put into place to stop reacting and begin responding differently?
True acceptance takes practice.
