Being Grateful
I definitely practice gratitude. I find it very grounding.
Gratitude is such a powerful practice. It shifts our focus from what we might lack or want to what's already present and good in our lives, no matter how small. When we take time to appreciate even the simplest things, like a warm cup of coffee, a friendly smile, a sunny day, or a conversation that makes us feel seen. It can change our entire perspective.
Gratitude also grounds us. It reminds us of the support we’ve received, the experiences that shaped us, and the strengths we’ve gained. By being grateful, we honor where we are and make space for more joy, connection, and resilience.
I’m grateful for so many things – my family, friends, colleagues, my health and the health of those I love. I lost my mom recently and I’m grateful for all those that supported me and my family. My list can go on…
What’s one thing you’re grateful for?
